Agility & Balance Park (Trainer-Led)

Fun, confidence-building obstacle course sessions in Brooksville, Florida

Build confidence. Burn energy. Strengthen your dog’s body awareness.

Looking for something fun to do with your dog while you’re visiting Brooksville—or a safe, structured activity for local pups who need more than a walk?

Our Agility & Balance Park is a trainer-led obstacle course experience designed to help dogs improve coordination, confidence, and focus—without the chaos (or risks) of an unsupervised dog park.

✅ Great for tourists + locals
✅ All skill levels welcome
✅ Private, controlled sessions
✅ Trainer guidance included

What This Is (and what it isn’t)

This is not open playtime. It’s a structured, supervised session led by a professional trainer.

Your dog will be guided through balance and agility-style obstacles at a pace that fits their age, temperament, and fitness level. Some dogs want to conquer everything immediately—others need a little time to observe first. Both are perfect.

What Dogs Learn Here

Confidence + neutrality in motion

Obstacle work teaches dogs how to:

  • move through new environments without panicking

  • follow direction with calm clarity

  • build real confidence through small wins

Body awareness + coordination

Balance equipment helps dogs develop proprioception (knowing where their body is in space), which can support:

  • better movement patterns

  • improved stability

  • overall athletic confidence

Healthy enrichment (without overstimulation)

Your dog gets to do something—not just “be managed.” That matters, especially for dogs that struggle with impulse control, anxiety, or busy brains.

What’s In the Park

Depending on your dog’s comfort level and goals, we may use:

  • Balance platforms / paws-up work

  • Cavaletti-style footwork lanes

  • Low jumps / jump grids (height appropriate)

  • Tunnels or confidence-through-space obstacles

  • Targeting games, engagement drills, and focus stations

  • Seasonal obstacles - small pool for boogie board floating and swimming and limited time enrichment activities cultivated by the trainer.

Want it more “fitness” than “agility”? Say the word. We can tailor the session toward physical conditioning, confidence building, and controlled movement.

Optional Add-Ons

Lure coursing-style chase session (trainer-led)

If your dog loves to chase, we can set up a safe, structured chase experience for extra fun and outlet—especially great for high-drive dogs.

Indoor training studio option

We also have an air conditioned indoor training studio with bathroom available. Quick Self Wash Grooming Tub with heated blow-dry available after a session for optional add-on.

Who This Is Great For

This experience is a good fit for:

  • Dogs who need structured enrichment

  • Dogs who get overstimulated at dog parks

  • Tourists who want a dog-friendly activity that’s actually memorable

  • Dogs building confidence (shy, sensitive, “watch first” types)

  • Athletic dogs who need a new outlet

  • Owners who want to learn how to guide their dog safely

Not sure if your dog is a good fit? We can do a quick evaluation and recommend the safest starting point.

Safety + Session Structure

We keep sessions controlled and low-stress:

  • Trainer-led, by appointment only

  • Sessions are structured to prevent chaos and dog-to-dog pressure

  • Dogs are not forced into obstacles

  • We adjust the plan based on stress signals, physical ability, and confidence

If your dog has reactivity or anxiety, that’s not an automatic “no”—it just means we plan smarter.

FAQ

Can puppies do this?

Yes—with age-appropriate obstacles. Puppies often benefit hugely from confidence and coordination games and we have specialized experience in this with our breeding program that focuses on early enrichment and confidence building exercises.

My dog is nervous. Will this make it worse?

Not if it’s done correctly. We work under threshold and build positive associations. Many nervous dogs do best with slow exposure and tiny wins.

Can multiple dogs come?

Yes—case by case. Some dogs do best one-on-one. If you have multiple dogs, we can structure the session safely.

Is this like an agility class?

It can be, but it doesn’t have to be. This isn’t competition-focused and equipment is not to competition regulations. The core take-aways are to use it for confidence + enrichment + fitness.
