EVE
Purple Collar | Female | Black Great Dane with White Markings
Status: AVAILABLE
Adoption: $3,700

Energy Level: MEDIUM
About Eve
Follow My Lead's Times Long Past "Eve" is the last available puppy from our Jolene × Freeway litter. Named in honor of New Year's Eve and the song "Auld Lang Syne," meaning Times Long Past, Eve is expected to mature between 130–150 pounds. At just under 7 months old, Eve has already earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification, demonstrating the training, manners and temperament she has developed as she's grown.
Eve is an incredibly sweet, submissive, and affectionate puppy with a gentle, "mushy" personality. She forms deep bonds with her people and genuinely wants to be wherever they are. Her favorite place in the world is sitting between your legs, gazing up at you while soaking up every bit of attention she can get. If you stop petting her, don't be surprised if she reminds you with a gentle nudge or a kiss.
She loves to play with toys, splash and dig in the water, and spend time with other dogs. Eve has an easygoing nature and enjoys being part of the group, making her a wonderful companion for homes that already have a friendly canine.
Although naturally a softer puppy, Eve has made tremendous progress in building her confidence through consistent training and carefully planned socialization. She has accompanied us on outings to stores, parks, and public places where she has continued learning how to navigate the world with confidence and composure.
Training & Foundation
Eve is potty trained, crate trained, and has an excellent foundation for her age. She has been working on loose-leash walking, polite greetings, household manners, boundaries, basic obedience, settling quietly in public, riding calmly in the car, and handling everyday distractions. She walks beautifully with our pack, usually needing only a few minutes to settle before falling into a nice rhythm alongside the other dogs. She is also comfortable with routine grooming, nail trims, and handling.
Eve recently passed all 10 portions of the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and earned her CGC certification. The CGC evaluates the practical skills and manners a dog needs to be a well-behaved companion, including accepting a friendly stranger, sitting politely for petting, grooming and handling, loose-leash walking, walking through a crowd, sit/down/stay, coming when called, remaining neutral around another dog, responding appropriately to distractions, and remaining calmly with a trusted person while the owner is out of sight.
Earning her CGC at this age is a great reflection of the foundation Eve already has, but training doesn't stop with a title. She's still a young Great Dane with plenty of growing and learning ahead of her, and I'm looking for a family who will continue building on everything she already knows.
Like all of our puppies, Eve has been raised using Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), extensive socialization, structured handling, and real-world exposure to help prepare her for life as a confident family companion.
Ideal Home
Eve would thrive with someone looking for a loyal companion who genuinely enjoys being close to her family. Her affectionate temperament, willingness to learn, and easygoing personality make her an excellent fit for first-time Great Dane owners who are committed to continuing her training, as well as experienced owners looking for a sweet, stable addition to their home.
If you're searching for the kind of Great Dane who leans into you for affection, happily joins you on adventures, and settles at your feet at the end of the day, Eve is that puppy.
Interested in Eve? Let's set up a video call and get to know each other.

About Ember
Follow My Lead's Light My Fire "Ember" is an elegant, beautifully marked mantle female with a full white collar and a glossy black coat. Named after the classic song by The Doors, Ember is expected to mature between 130–150 pounds.
Temperament
Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test Score: 3
Ember is a sweet, affectionate girl with a sensitive heart and a strong desire to be close to her people. New environments can make her a little cautious at first, but she recovers quickly and settles in once she realizes she's safe. She is very observant and likes to take everything in before deciding it's time to jump into the fun.
Once she bonds with you, Ember is an absolute love bug. She craves attention, loves affection, and is happiest when she's involved in whatever you're doing. If you're looking for a true Velcro dog, Ember is more than willing to accept the position. She is the definition of a Level 10 clinger and would gladly spend the day following you from room to room.
Ember genuinely wants to do the right thing. Her biggest challenge has been controlling her excitement when she wants attention or is anticipating something she loves, like mealtime. She's been working hard on replacing those enthusiastic jumps with polite sits, and she's making wonderful progress. Her eagerness to please makes her a very enjoyable puppy to train.
Training & Foundation
Ember is crate trained and is progressing through a structured foundation program that includes leash manners, basic obedience, polite greetings, household boundaries, and confidence-building exercises. She is learning to sit for attention, wait politely, and settle in different environments.
She does like to announce when she's awake in the morning with a little whining—and occasionally a dramatic howl—just in case anyone forgot she exists. Fortunately, once she's up and moving, she's ready to learn and eager to be part of the day.
Like all of our puppies, Ember has been raised with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), extensive handling, structured socialization, and real-world exposure to prepare her for a successful transition into her new home.
Ideal Home
Ember would thrive with a family who enjoys a close relationship with their dog and is willing to continue reinforcing the manners she's already learning. Her affectionate personality, quick recovery in new situations, and genuine desire to please make her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal shadow who wants nothing more than to be included in everyday life.

Follow My Lead’s Oh My Darlin
Clementine
Orange Collar | Female | Mantle Great Dane
Status: AVAILABLE
Adoption: $3,250
Deposit: $500
Energy Level: Medium
About Clementine
Follow My Lead's Oh My Darlin' "Clementine" is a beautiful mantle Great Dane named after the traditional American folk song made famous by Percy Montrose. Expected to mature between 130–150 pounds, Clementine is an intelligent, thoughtful puppy with a playful personality and an excellent work ethic.
Temperament
Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test Score: 3
Clementine is a sweet girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she quickly warms up and lets her playful, spirited personality shine. She loves toys, is highly food motivated, and genuinely enjoys learning, making her a fun and rewarding puppy to train.
While she is initially reserved with people, Clementine is noticeably more confident around other dogs, particularly her littermates. She has a naturally assertive personality and, as she matures, may be more likely to challenge another female dog. For that reason, she would likely do best as an only dog or in a home with a stable, tolerant older male. An experienced Great Dane owner who understands canine behavior and is comfortable providing fair, consistent leadership would be an excellent match.
Training & Foundation
Clementine has already accompanied us on numerous training outings, including visits to Lowe's, Petco, a friend's home, a local park with a splash pad and playground full of children, and a group training class with another professional dog trainer. These experiences have helped her steadily build confidence in a variety of real-world environments.
She is crate trained, reliably uses both her potty box and the yard, and is progressing through a structured foundation program. She is learning loose-leash walking, sitting politely, waiting at doorways, and asking for attention instead of demanding it. In addition to basic obedience, Clementine is learning to settle calmly in the car, classroom, and on leash, respect household boundaries such as staying off counters, greet people with four paws on the floor, and offer gentle kisses instead of jumping.
She also accepts grooming, nail trims, ear care, and general handling very well, requiring only minimal fussing. Like all of our puppies, Clementine has been raised with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), extensive handling, structured socialization, and real-world exposure to help prepare her for a smooth transition into her future home.
Ideal Home
Clementine would thrive with an experienced Great Dane owner who appreciates a thoughtful, intelligent dog and is committed to continuing her training. She has the potential to become an incredibly loyal companion and will do best in a home that provides structure, clear expectations, and opportunities to continue building her confidence while channeling her strong personality appropriately.

A Breeding Program Built on Structure, Temperament & Health
Our breeding program is intentionally small, family-run, and rooted in quality over quantity. Each pairing is thoughtfully planned using proven bloodlines, health testing, and temperament considerations. Structure and soundness matter — both physically and mentally. We prioritize stable nerves, balanced energy, and clear-headed temperaments, producing Great Danes that are not only beautiful representations of the breed, but also reliable companions suited for real life. Puppies temperaments are assessed at 7 weeks old and matched to their forever home based on the objective of the adopter- Service work, Therapy Work, Show Home/Breeder, or wonderful loving family dog.
Our puppies are raised in a professional training environment, not a kennel setting. From birth, they are exposed to structured routines, gentle handling, problem solving enrichment exercises for emotional regulation and real-world household experiences that support confidence, resilience, and adaptability. As a certified professional dog trainer and AKC evaluator, we observe each puppy closely during early development to better understand temperament, drive, and social tendencies. This trainer-raised foundation allows our puppies to transition more smoothly into their new homes and sets them up for long-term success.
Why Training-Focused Breeding Matters
Training doesn’t start when a puppy goes home — it starts from day one. Puppies raised in an environment that understands canine behavior, learning theory, and emotional development gain an early advantage. By integrating training principles into our breeding program, we are able to support impulse control, confidence building, and stress resilience long before formal obedience begins. This approach helps prevent common behavioral challenges and creates a stronger foundation for lifelong learning.
Early Socialization & Temperament Evaluation
Our puppies are gently exposed to age-appropriate stimuli, surfaces, sounds, and human interaction during critical developmental windows. We carefully monitor responses to novelty, handling, and environmental changes, allowing us to begin early temperament evaluation. This process helps us guide families toward the puppy that best fits their lifestyle — whether that’s a laid-back companion, an active family dog, or a future performance or service prospect.
Puppy Rearing
When a puppy is born, we have 12 weeks to get them ready for you. We devote our time, energy, knowledge and our hearts to ensure they are the best they can be before they go home to their forever humans.
By the time they go home we ensure they believe in their own abilities.
That they know the world is safe.
That they know dogs are friendly.
That they know people are kind.
And most of all, that their voice is heard in their placement so that they are understood, honored, respected, and empowered to be the best they can be.
It does make a difference how puppies are raised.
Empowering puppies to believe in themselves is a gift that we cannot take for granted.
The impact of instilling confidence in puppies extends beyond their early years, laying the groundwork for a lifetime of resilience, adaptability, and success.
Our puppies are raised in our family home and training headquarters in sunny Brooksville, FL; ensuring the early socialization exposure that is critical to creating a confident adult dog. We expose them to children, cats, adult men and women, several other adult dogs on our property, along with small animals such as our farmstead chickens, turkeys, and rabbits, and pigs. We live in a beautifully wooded rural area, so we also make it a point to take several short “field trips” to visit with the sights, sounds, and smells of a more urban setting with cars, traffic, and people creating several impactful positive experiences around new things.
From research done by the U.S. Military Canine Program, we know that the period of time between day 3 through 16 is the most crucial window of time for the rapid neurological growth and development in puppies, and therefore is of great importance to the individual.
Documented Benefits of Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS):
Improved cardio vascular performance
Stronger heart beats
Stronger adrenal glands
More tolerance to stress
Greater resistance to disease

EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION
PUPPY CULTURE A scientific system created by experts in the field with a very specific timeline to introduce different exercises to enhance cardiac function, the immune system, the adrenaline system, the prevention of behavioral problems, and much more. This system is considered to be the gold standard in puppy raising.
At 7 weeks old, we use The Volhard “Puppy Aptitude Test or “PAT”. The Volhard Test was created by Joachim and Wendy Volhard as a way to test behavioral tendencies and predict what a puppy will be like as an adult also commonly called a “Puppy Temperament Test” or “Puppy Personality Test”. This helps guide us to a more perfect match between the puppy and their new family.
Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test (PAT) At 49 Days, a PAT will be administered by a professional dog trainer to access each puppy’s temperament which will allow us to match them more perfectly with their new owners.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. All of our puppies are AKC registered and come from carefully selected, health-tested parents with proven pedigrees. We prioritize breed standard, structure, and temperament to ensure our puppies are true representatives of the Great Dane breed.
-
While color preferences are considered, temperament and suitability always come first. Our goal is lifelong success for both the dog and the family, and matching the right puppy to the right home is far more important than aesthetics alone.
-
Some puppies may show traits that make them strong service or therapy dog prospects, but not every puppy — even from the best breeding — is suited for public access or task work. Puppies with calmer, more sensitive temperaments may thrive as emotional support animals in the home, while others may excel in active or working roles. We are honest and realistic in our evaluations to set everyone up for success.Description text goes here

Puppies typically go home around 8 weeks of age, however due to the uniqueness of our program we hold on to them for a full 12 weeks following the Puppy Culture program and getting them a head start on maturity and training to make the transition to your home less stressful. Our puppies will have an introduction to potty training, leash manners, and basic principles of marker training by the time they go home.
-
Yes, ear cropping is optional and entirely a personal decision. We support families who choose to crop as well as those who prefer natural ears. Our role is to provide education, reputable veterinary referrals, and guidance so families can make an informed choice that aligns with their goals.
-
When performed correctly by an experienced veterinarian using modern anesthesia and pain management, ear cropping is considered a safe surgical procedure. Like any surgery, proper aftercare is critical.
-
If elected, ear cropping is typically performed between 7–12 weeks of age by an experienced, licensed veterinarian who specializes in Great Danes. This timing supports proper healing and optimal results. Puppies must be fully healed by the time they leave us and I will instruct you hands on in best practices of aftercare posting up on pickup.
-
Crop styles vary depending on structure, head shape, and owner preference. Options may include:
Show crop – longer, elegant crop consistent with AKC conformation standards
Medium crop – balanced length with a practical appearance
Short crop – more conservative length
We are happy to discuss the differences and help guide you toward a style that complements your puppy’s structure and intended purpose.
